Q: I can't print TIF files
on my HiTi630ps printer. Does this printer
only support JPEG? |

A: Yes. The Hiti630ps supports TIF
format files. However, you can only view
and print these files using Photo Desiree
which is a bundled software for the
HiTi630ps printer. You'll have to connect
the HiTi630PS printer to a PC and use
Photo Desiree to view and print TIF format
files.

Hiti630ps connected to a PC?

Q: I'm currently using my Hiti630ps
as a stand-alone unit. I don't have it
connected to a PC. What would be the
advantages of using it connected to a PC?

A: There are some advantages
to using the printer connected to a PC.
Here are some of the benefits:

1. You can view and print TIF files
2. Photo Desiree (Bundled Software) will
allow you to enhance photos by adding
borders, text, watermark, etc.

Does the HiTi630ps printer require
regular maintenance?

Q: Does the HiTi630ps printer
require any regular maintenace?

A: No. The only time the printer
would require maintenance is when you see
faded streaks on the printed photo. If you
see faded lines on the prints, one of the
following will fix the problem under
normal circumstances.

1. You may purchase a "Hiti630ps cleaning
kit" for $9.99 which we carry in
stock.
2. Open the unit cover (front) and get a
lint free cloth with some alcohol. Swipe
the head from edge to edge
(one swipe in single
direction only! Do not scrub or wipe back
and forth. Excessive cleaning may cause
permanent damage to thge Hiti630ps'
thermal head).
